D. Belt Centering:
  1. Track treadmill according to instructions in your manual or the
    follow the
    (click here for) Directions on our web site.
  2. Check belt for seam separation or stretching by inspecting the underside
    of the belt. The seam should be even across the width of the belt.
  3. Check floor to make sure floor is level then check treadmill to make sure
    the treadmill is level. Adjust as needed.
  4. Make sure front roller is set parallel with the rear roller (if front roller
    is adjustable).
E. Belt Slipping:
  1. Possible loose walking belt.
  2. Possible loose motor drive belt.
  3. Plastic pulley may have come loose on front of roller.
  4. Walking belt may have stretched or the seam may be coming apart. You
    can check this by making sure the belt seam is even on the underside.
  5. Walking belt may need lubrication
  6. Walking belt may be worn out, or deck is worn.
  7. Motor drive belt may be worn out.
F. Incline/Lift/Elevation not working:
  1. If you know your getting power to unit, check to see if console up/down
    incline keys/pads are functioning.
  2. Ribbon cable may be out of place or pinched.
  3. Elevation motor is getting voltage, but still not working. This may
    warrant a new elevation motor.
